Eligibility
- U.S. and non-U.S. applicants must be a graduate student enrolled full–time in an accredited U.S. university engaged in MS or Ph.D. research into technical aspects of human factors, instrumentation and/or controls.
- Applicants must submit a brief (500-word) essay describing their current educational activities and long-term professional objectives with respect to the human factors, instrumentation, and controls technical disciplines.
- Open to students pursuing graduate studies in nuclear engineering with a focus in the field of human factors, instrumentation, and controls.
Description
The Uhrig Scholarship is for students pursuing graduate studies in nuclear engineering with a focus in the field of human factors, instrumentation, and controls. The Uhrig Scholarship focus is on the technical disciplines involved in Nuclear Plant Instrumentation, Controls, and Human–Machine Interface Technologies in the context of nuclear power or other nuclear engineering-specific applications.
